At the Character Creation screen, you can customize your character’s attributes, like gender, head size, height, body shape, zodiac sign and so forth. You will need to decide on a Name which will be displayed above your character in the game.
Note that after your character is created, you will not be able to change his or her attributes later. If you want a different character, you will need to create a new HighStreet 5 account.
HighStreet 5 Map
To travel in HighStreet 5, go to the Map and click on any of the buildings to enter that particular dance hall or area. You may also click on any icon on the navigation bar above to enter that place.
The Mall, Store, Dance Studio and the Hip-Hop High School are the places that you should head to first as a beginner.
Dancing in HighStreet 5 consists of pressing directional keys and then pressing Space Bar at the appropriate time. You can also use special items and perform stunts during a dance by pressing the numerical key assigned to the particular item or stunt.
There are three modes of dance; Single (one person), Lovers (two persons) or Group (up to five persons). Every completed dance will earn you Scores; and the better your dance, the higher your points.
Popular music is broadcast for players to dance to; you can also request for songs and tag a dedication along with it in any dance hall!
Apart from clothing items, you can purchase other things like dance moves or items which are mainly used during your dances to replenish Vitality (Stamina), HIGH value or perform special visual effects like fireworks to add to your dance Score.
In the game, these items can be bought with Cash Points, Scores, or a combination of both. Items on the Online Store are bought with Cash Points only.

Cash Points is the in-game virtual currency which can be purchased online or through Point Cards available in stores islandwide in Singapore. Free Cash Points can be attained by participating in in-game events, competitions and other special events for HighStreet 5.
Cash Points are linked to your HighStreet 5 account. You can top-up Cash Points by online payment using PayPal or by purchasing pre-paid Point Cards in stores and activating the card through the website (instructions are on the card).
